Celebrate Summer! - Challenges at Do More With Less, Bird is the Word and Scrap For Help.

This page was put together over the last three weeks gradually changing from a blue Ocean page to a fun summery page.

I was experimenting with bubble wrap for the challenge at Scrap for Help and decided to use the golden yellow with faux white bubbles paper for this LO. I used white THDI randomly on my strip of bubble wrap and stamped it onto the paper to create my bubbles. The little submarine, octopus, fishes and diver are fussy cut from the packaging for a children's pack of die-cut sheets of plain card in a card making kit, which is also the challenge at LESSology to use packing.

At Do More with Less, Savannah has a challenge to use stamp masking to make your own messages or titles.  I used  several stamps from my collection to make up the sentiment "Enjoy your great SURPRISE, by masking out the stamps except for the word wanted.  You can watch Savannah's tutorial here.

The current word at Bird is the Word is Celebrate which fits right in with my photo of Daisy from last June.
The journalling on the rear of the title tag reads "Having a January birthday means you don't have many fun outdoor presents so when you came home from school last June and found the pool and the inflatable ready to go you were pleased as punched. A new purple bikini was the icing on the cake."

I loosely followed this sketch by Heather Waldron but used it more as a starting point to build up my page.

Thank you for looking and any comments you leave,  I do appreciate them all.

Have a great weekend where ever you are!
