Cabinet cards for Tim Holz CCC3 - Framelits and Stamps.

I've been making some cabinet cards and thought they would be good to try out the latest challenge at  Tim Holz  CCC3 - Framelits and Stamps.
I liked using the Christmas set and made two cards with a tag inside and a wallet to add money or a small gift.

You can see in the last photo that I stamped the trees stamp on the background with silver and positioned the die cut trees in the foreground.

The second one was made into a slightly different scene using black embossed card in the background and torn papers to form hills, positioning the die cut trees amongst them.

Again I made the tag from more card and decorated it adding a money wallet on the rear.

You can join in here it's open until Friday evening.

Thank you for looking and any comments you leave.I do love to read them.

  2. Hello Jean. Your cards are adorable! I love your idea of making cabinet cards and using the framelits to create such cute little snowy, Christmas-y scenes. Isn't it amazing what a background color will do? That black background with the embossed dots POPS right out of the cabinet frame. So cute! I love each of your cards...the torn layers of papers to create a landscape and the tall pines framelits as wooded forests is such a cute idea. Love the snowflakes and the deer, too. Your matching tags and money wallet are also nicely done and make for a great gift idea! Thanks so much for sharing with all of us at CC3C. <3 Candy
