Hi everyone I've not been Blogging much lately. A mix of working on projects for Christmas and looking after my hubby and not being 100% myself.
My husband has been for an MRI scan on his brain today and goes for another on his abdomen on Monday. He has Parkinson's Disease and early onset Dementia which at 69 has been hard to deal with. Now he's suddenly started to lose weight and doesn't look like the man I knew. It's been very hard living day to day with him as he's had really bad mood swings and drinking a lot, which hasn't helped. We wont have any results until mid-January as the clinic is on a Monday and the next 2 are Bank Holidays in the UK so we just have to carry on and get through Christmas.
I shall try and post some of the projects I've been doing but entering challenges has had to take a back seat for a while. Take care and please add us to your prayers at this difficult time.
Honey, hugs from New York! God Bless!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear that things are so tough for you at the moment - I hope that you have people near to support you. Sending you hugs and best wishes x
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you have been having such a rough time, Jeanie. It doesn't sound good at all. Sending you lots of hugs and sparkles, Valerie
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that you have added burden to what happened earlier this year with your brother!
ReplyDeleteI have seen a lot of similar things to what you describe and it is hard!
It is also difficult to see the man you have been living with turn slowly into someone else.
You are in my thoughts and prayers!!
Hugz, Bente
So sorry to hear what you and your husband are going through. Sending sympathy and prayers your way.
ReplyDeleteoh Jeanie , so sorry to hear things are not the best at the moment .... it all takes it's toll .... please be gentle on yourself and take care ... acceptance is the key .... not necessarily agreeing just accepting the things you cannot change .. difficult I know but it does cause less stress on your body ... we are thinking of you ... lots of love Heather x
ReplyDeletebaden has had a couple of good days ... about 4 hours sleep each night instead of none .. he is walking much better too ... xoxoxo
