I know I've entered once for both these challenges this month but............ the rest of my napkin was itching to be used and I wanted to make an LO about my lovely Mom so here it is. Just sneaking it in for Scrap For Help deadline, to use a napkin, which is tomorrow and Bird is the Word, to use HE/SHE/HIM/HER somewhere on your LO. I made a flower from some of the pretty border from my napkin and used the rest as a frill around my photo frame. and on my frame, an old frame from a chipboard square used ages ago.
For those who don't follow my Blog, Mom is 92, and has been in hospital since she fell on 3rd of Dec last year and broke her hip.
Three operations later with many scares and lots of pain she has finally turned the corner and is fighting back to health. I went on the train to see her yesterday and she is looking more like this photo taken 2yrs ago on her 90th. She still has a long way to go before she is mobile again but I know she will do it if God is willing.
I took a photo of her on my mobile before she went to theatre the first time, in December, as she was pulling a funny face at me minus her teeth. I'm not showing it here as she would be angry but its tucked under her pretty photo with my story on the back.
Hope you like it and thank you so much for all your concern and good wishes for my Mom.
Truly appreciate the support I receive in Blogland, big hugs to you all!
Happy Thursday everyone!

ReplyDeleteMy mother in law fell and broke her hip weeks ago thankfully only one operation was need but due to her mild Dementia she was not allowed to walk for a month...you can imagine the frustration. I personally thought she would never walk again as she has been fighting depression since her husbands death 2 years ago. A miracle happened and she is walking again!!
I truly hope this happens to your mother too!!
love the layout!
