Yes I have been a little blue in myself but I 'm dealing with it by crafting. Here's a tag I made with some old and new combined. It will be part of another mini album from No 2 of my old worn out manilla style folder which is blue. Used TH Lost and Found paper for the tag starting here. On Valerie's blog here, she used some old paintings, die cut into umbrella men and that was my starting point. Thank you Val for the inspiration,
I had great fun playing around with a mix of inks and stamps and die cut images. The man was TH die cut which I embossed on the wrong side around all the joins in the image like the umbrella spines, man's hat, collar, seams etc. When I turned it over I brushed an ink pad lightly over it to give definition to the embossing then decided to add some gold embossing powder over too. The reverse side has some TH diecut houses and stamped birds with my new Stampin up stamps.
