Standing in my kitchen washing my supper dishes I had a good view of the full moon. The clouds were scudding across the moon in varying depths of transparency. The colours in the moving clouds made an ever-changing tonal pattern in front of the moon, making it look like it was spinning. Yawn yawn!
Are you still with me? Suddenly the moon was in full view for a few seconds lighting my snowy garden into a magical eerie wonderland with sparkling jewels twinkling and glittering. I tried to take a photo but it was too dark for that as you can see here.
I had a photo from earlier in the day of the snowy garden so I gave it a blue tint and printed it onto purple card stock. I then sprayed it with various mica sprays and drew into the trees with my black and white glossy accents. WOW I thought that's it!! I've been wanting to do the AFS challenge sketch and the Berry7 Bleu Challenge but was waiting for inspiration to strike.
I'm not sure if the moon and sky qualify for the Berry7Bleu challenge which is about someone you love but I just love painterly moon lit skies!!
My corners were made from a die cut journalling frame which I cut into four and painted a gold middle to highlight them. I die cut the birds and
painted the front one with black & white accents. The one behind was heat embossed in silver and gold.
What do you think folks? Thank you so much for looking and for your lovely comments. I love them all!!
Happy Easter Holidays to you all. x
